Empowering the Circular Economy, One Product at a Time

At Funoas, our overarching vision aligns with the principles of a circular economy: one that is restorative and regenerative by design.

We take a slow fashion approach, by starting production only when the order is received and reducing textile waste in the process. Our printing partner’s superior technology creates almost no waste water and utilizes less energy than standard industry printers.

As a slow fashion clothing brand from the Maldives, we know first-hand the devastating impact that these numbers can have on our habitat.

In the wake of climate change, our delicate coral reefs greatly inspires our products and textile designs and we view our art as a medium to foster dialogue about the vulnerability of the archipelago.

All of our apparel products are packed in post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic mailers, with a minimum of 50% PCR in the outside (white or grey) poly mailer bags and atleast 30% PCR in the inside (clear) bags used in multi-item shipments.

Funoas is more than just a brand – it is a movement that celebrates meaningful consumption, and an ode to the fragile beauty of the Maldives. We invite you to join us on this journey and make a difference today.
